Season of Change

During these new economical times we are driven into change, but change is good if it is planned well. Changes for the better are coming to OWT in 2011. We have been thinking and whispering amoung ourselves about the possibilty of combining our District Association and Congress of Christian Education to one week in the Month of June. OWT Moderator and staff met with Pastors of all the zones of the district on 18 December 2010 at Antioch Baptist Church of Wichita Falls Texas, (Host Pastor Virgil Nesbit Jr.) Presentation by formal Moderator and now District Treasurer Pastor Matthew McGruder of the Sunset Baptist Church, Grand Prairie Texas laid out the new format was present. All Pastor in attendence voted in favor of the new changes. New dates for the Association/Congress meeting will be 27-June thru 1 July 2011
